Quick Taco Salad Recipe
Ingredients:
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 bag (7 oz) tortilla chips
- 1/3 cup french dressing
- 1/4 cup onion, chopped
- 2 tomatoes, cut in wedges
- 4 oz cheddar cheese, shredded
- 1 can (8 oz) corn, drained
- 1 can (8 oz) garbanzo beans, drain
- 1/2 teaspoon dried oregano, crushed
- 1/2 head iceberg lettuce, finely shredded
- 1/2 cup radish slices
- 1 avocado, peeled and sliced
- some pitted black olives, sliced
- some sour cream
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon pepper
- some vegetable oil
Instructions:
1. Preheat the skillet and add in the vegetable oil. Switch to medium heat and brown ground beef on both sides.
2. Add in the french dressing, salt, pepper, onion and oregano. Stir slightly and let them simmer for about 5 minutes. Switch off the heat.
3. In a bowl, add in the lettuce, tomatoes, beans, corn, radishes and some more french dressing to add some moisture. Combine and mix well then toss lightly.
4. Serve the meat mixture over tortilla chips and top it with the lettuce mixture and some cheese, avocado, olives and sour cream. Enjoy!
